5 Tips for Feeling Your Best

Here are my top 5 tips for feeling like your best self and keeping your vibe high.
 
1) Gratitude: Taking a moment to focus on just a few things (it always ends up being more) that you’re grateful for will always improve your mood. Write a short list of 5 things each morning, and see how it affects your outlook.
 
2) Exercise: If you’re already a worker-outer, then extra bonus points for you! If you’re like me, and not a runner or a gym member, then a walk outside always helps to focus my thoughts and keep me feeling cheerful. It doesn’t even have to be that long- 20 minutes is good.
 
3) Get out in nature. As with the first 2 items, it doesn’t have to be a big commitment. Just hanging in the park and listening to the birds for a few minutes is very grounding and relaxing.
 
4) Cut out the crappy and unhealthy food! As a chocoholic, I’m not advocating that you cut out treats, but fast food, processed food, dyed, fried, and artificially sweetened foods are not your friends. When your body is functioning optimally, you feel good. And a great place to start is with your diet.
 
5) Get social. Spend time connecting with your favorite people.
